Loosely based on Sega's 1986 arcade game of the same name, Enduro Racer for the Master System supplants the behind-the-bike, Hang-On-style viewpoint with an angled, isometric perspective. Gameplay is basically the same (ride a motorcycle, jump over obstacles), and the popular "wheelie" feature remains intact, but the home system's control pad is a poor substitute for the arcade version's handlebars. Also, the console game has some curious coloring choices, including blue trees. One advantage the Master System rendition enjoys is a point system for passing cars during races. Points can be cashed in for use in upgrading the bike's top speed, acceleration and turning power.
