Description
Once upon a time, only the Titans of old possessed the power of good. Then Macress, a young Titan warrior, gained the power of good, giving him the ability to gallop on land, fly like a bird, and swim like a fish. As Macress your job is to regain six lost treasures, all the while preparing for a battle with Gorgan. As you fight your way through the game, hacking and slashing Gorgan's dark minions with your sword, you will eventually learn to use seven types of magic. By performing feats of magic, you can temporarily freeze enemy characters, destroy all on screen enemies, briefly become invulnerable, restore your vitality, add bolts of lightning to your sword, add transformation items, and extend your metamorphosis time. As you defeat certain enemies, you will gain the ability to morph into a centaur, a birdman, and a fishman. The action in Saint Sword takes place in the Dreamland of the Thorns, the Cave of Evil, the Fairy Forest, Poison Rock Mountain, the Dark Fields, the Graveyard of the Warriors, and in the Evil Castle, where you will face Gorgan, the leader of the dark forces. Other bosses you will face include: Dwarf, Eyemon, Jabo, Twinhead, Skelt, and Ghoul.
