Description
Based on Jeopardy, one of the highest-rated and longest-running game shows in the history of television, Jeopardy! Junior Edition is a trivia game for the younger set. Up to three players can compete for cash by answering questions from a board of six different categories. In all there are almost 2,000 questions in over 400 categories. Categories include things like Fiction Baddies, Color Words, Inventors, Plant Zoo, Weather, Paul Bunyon, Birds, and Holidays. To get the opportunity to answer a question, you must be the first to buzz in. To give your answer you must spell it out with your controller, pointing and clicking on letters of the alphabet. If a player gives the wrong answer, another contestant can buzz in. The player with the most cash at the end of Jeopardy!, Double Jeopardy!, and Final Jeopardy! wins the game. In addition to Jeopardy! Junior Edition, GameTek has also published the following game show titles for the NES: Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Wheel of Fortune Junior Edition, Hollywood Squares, and Double Dare.
