Sega's signature role-playing series gets another addition in Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus. An expansion for the 2006 release Phantasy Star Universe, Ambition of the Illuminus features a larger roster of enemies, more weaponry, new levels and cities, and more character customization options. Players' existing avatars are now the central character in a story built around restoring peace to the volatile Guhral System. Single-player missions lead gamers to familiar faces like Ethan Waber, as well as new characters like Laia Martinez, while online play features new missions, enemies, and cities. Ambition of the Illuminus is a stand-alone expansion for PCs and the PS2, while the Xbox 360 version is download only and requires a copy of Phantasy Star Universe.
