First available as a coin-op game in Japan, Raiden IV makes its Xbox 360 debut with online support and an assortment of bonus features. In addition to the main arcade mode, which features custom difficulty settings across four frenetic stages, Raiden IV includes a special Xbox 360 mode that introduces two new levels, different enemy arrangements, and a new challenge setting. Select any unlocked stage and one of eight difficulty levels before taking on waves of enemy ships from an overhead, vertical-scrolling perspective. Solo players can opt to pilot a single ship or two ships at once, while friends can participate simultaneously with the two-player co-op option. Earn high scores on each stage in the score attack mode, or attempt to dazzle the world with your shooting skills by aiming for a spot on the global leaderboards. The latter involves playing through the game with three lives and no continues. Save your point totals and video replays to share with others via Xbox Live.
