Over the weekend an InGen plane carrying DNA capsules crashed on Isla Sorna, scattering its wreckage over the prehistoric island. Using either Mark Hanson or Lori Torres, a player must help recover these precious capsules. Succeeding will restore a lost species to the Earth, but failure will mean Mark or Lori become little more than a dino snack. Throughout the side-scrolling adventure, characters must rely on wits and skill, but can also acquire high- powered explosives for the occasional clash with a T-Rex or Stegosaurus. Evasion is sometimes a player's best friend, since resources are limited and the exploration of the island's many different areas will be a jungle of a time. Luckily, a save feature allows users to restart at the level they're currently on, and health power-ups along the way will restore energy to the player's single life. After completing levels, players can access detailed "Dino Files" that provide information and pictures about revived species.
