While in his lab one day, Dr. Alec Holland is involved in an accident. In an effort to save his life, he covers his body in his bio-restorative formula. While he remains alive, the formula transformed him into Swamp Thing. Released in 1992 by THQ, players are on a mission to stop the evil Dr. Arcane from ruling the world.
