Hot Wheels: Extreme Racing expands on the concept of Hot Wheels Turbo Racing, in which players control miniature Hot Wheels cars. Instead of household environments, players compete on futuristic venues filled with lava, ice, water, and more. Each vehicle can also transform into a plane, boat, or monster truck to cross the treacherous terrain. Grab power-ups on each course to use against the competition on 12 themed courses. Hot Wheels: Extreme Racing also features multiplayer support for up to four racers on 12 separate tracks.
