Ultimate Puzzle Games: Sudoku Edition offers both beginning and experienced Sudoku fans unlimited challenges through an internal algorithm that randomly produces puzzles. Originally a pencil-and-paper game from Japan, Sudoku traveled west and started a brainteaser craze. Played on a nine by nine grid, the object of the game is to fill the squares so that each row and column contains the numerals one through nine with none repeated. However, in Ultimate Puzzle Games, gamers can choose to complete puzzles on smaller grids and save boards to finish later. Players can refresh their knowledge with the "How to Play" section and then compete with friends through a wireless connection. Additionally, gamers can freely share the entire release with other DS owners by allowing them to download the game.
