Homie Rollerz takes ten characters from creator David Gonzales' popular and ever-expanding series of collectible figurines out of the barrio and onto the brickyard for fast-paced go-kart racing action. Players can earn respect points by performing stunts and winning races, then cash that respect in to trick out their rides. Gamers can use the stylus to apply new paints jobs, add new engines and exhausts for more speed, and upgrade the suspension and hydraulics for better handling and tricks. Races take place on other Homies' turf, like Jokawild's Homie Circus or Big Loco's stretch of Venice Beach, and each course is filled with obstacles and shortcuts. Solo players can try the character-centric Wizard Circuit, where each Homie has a unique vehicle and a singular wish to be fulfilled, or they can join friends in three multiplayer modes. Eight players can compete with a local wireless connection, while four players can race using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and download play is available so two people can play a trial version using only one game disc.
