Description
Power Moves is a mediocre Street Fighter II clone with eight selectable fighters. In single-player tournament mode, players are stuck with just one character. The punching/kicking action is fast and moderately entertaining, and the graphical detail of the various exotic locations (such as Hawaii and Kenya) is nice. However, special moves are hard to execute, the animation could use some polish, and the game is highly derivative. Its best and most unique feature is that your fighter will gain strength in one of five different categories (such as speed and endurance) with every victory. The game also contains a couple of bonus rounds in which players punch and kick targets.
