XS Moto (Sony PlayStation 1, 2002)

Product Specs
Description
International motorcycle racing glides onto the PlayStation with 22 circuits from around the globe and four gameplay modes: Single Race, Championship, Two-Player Race, and Two-Player Championship. Competing in Championship mode will unlock ten of the 22 tracks, depending on the difficulty selected (novice, amateur, or professional), but additional Skill Tests must be completed successfully to allow access to the extra tracks and gameplay at higher difficulty levels. The criteria for the difficulty settings include steering and braking assistance as well as the amount of damage sustained. Options include selection of race length (three, five or ten laps, or a full race of 100km), motorbike setups (gearbox, 21 sprocket sets for gear ratio, and tires), background music, and a vibration function. Championship mode consists of four stages (Beginner Trophy, Novice Challenge, Expert Cup, and Elite GP) which must be completed at the novice difficulty setting before access to more tracks and game modes is available. Multiplayer action is provided for two players via horizontal split screen.
