Description

Wheel of Fortune is based on the television game show of the same name. Three contestants take turns selecting to spin the wheel, buy a vowel, or solve the puzzle. The wheel contains tiles with dollar amounts, bankrupt, lose a turn, and sometimes special prizes. When landing on a dollar amount or prize the contestant can then guess a consonant. If the consonant chosen is in the puzzle the player's possible winnings increase and they receive another turn. When a puzzle is correctly solved that player wins the amount of money they earned while correctly guessing consonants. At the end of regulation the player with the most money plays a bonus round for a chance to win one of the big prizes. There are four male and four female contestants available to play as, and the game can be played solo, against the computer, or with two friends. Wheel of Fortune the video game is hosted completely by Vanna White rather than the television game show host Pat Sajak.
