Preteen gamers can join the inquisitive Emma and her faithful dog Pickles as they head off on a journey to discover why the groundhogs haven't left their den in Emma in the Mountains. The game features 20 environmentally themed mini-games in which players solve puzzles and journey through mazes, learning to recognize animal tracks, identifying mountain foliage, and discovering the hidden groundhog den along the way. Emma in the Mountains makes full use of the DS' functionality, letting gamers use the stylus, touch screen, and microphone to build snowmen, race in a toboggan, and play the trumpet, among many other activities. Players can also use the included sheet of stickers to decorate their DS in any way they please.
