Based in Europe after WWII, "The Third Man" is a drama and thriller set in Vienna. The story follows main character, Holly Martins, a writer and alcoholic, who is visiting a friend. Martins soon learns that his friend has passed away and left the world with a reputation of being involved in racketeering. The story follows Martins as he tries to clear the reputation of his friend. "The Third Man" is a combination of drama and psychological thriller that will keep audiences on the edge of their seat. "The Third Man" stars Orson Welles and Joseph Cotten. This Blu-ray disc was directed by Carol Reed and is based on a novel by Graham Greene. There are a number of scenes in "The Third Man" that have become iconic in the movie industry. The movie has received three Oscar nominations. This Blu-ray disc includes special features and documentaries about the making of the AFI top 100 film.
