Charm Girls Club: My Perfect Prom is a teen-themed adventure game for the Nintendo DS. Players create their own customized Charm Girl avatar to join the series' four continuing characters: Emilie (with blonde hair), Anna (who has dark, straight hair), Olivia (with curly hair), and Sara (a redhead). Each girl has her own look and style, but they all are interested in having fun together and supporting one another. As the game begins, there are four weeks until the Charm Valley Academy prom, and as a member of the social committee, the player's character is responsible for all the planning and preparation required to make it a night to remember. Gamers take charge of decorating the four prom locations they'll visit -- the park, a yacht, the gym, and the ballroom -- choosing items from six themes. Girls in a rival clique, the "Queen Bs," are jealous, and keeping them from sabotaging the big event will be an added challenge, but keeping in touch with BFFs on the cell phone and watching the latest gossip in the school blog helps the player's avatar to remain popular, and to plan a prom that everyone can enjoy. Of course, each Charm Girl will also need to prepare herself for the big night, by choosing the right dress and make-up, and designing the perfect date to escort her. As they play through the adventure, gamers can find and collect more than 50 different Charm Girl charms, which are kept in a special virtual jewelry box.
