Jeopardy (Nintendo 64, 1998)

Description
The second of GameTek's two game-show offerings on the N64, Jeopardy! is a crude rendition of the popular television series with blurry graphics, gaunt 2D sprites, and miniscule text. Alex Trebek is virtually absent and only appears via grainy video clips to introduce the three phases of the game. While the 650 categories feature an adequate 4,000 answers, topics lack diversity and categories repeat due to the absence of an internal battery or Controller Pak support. The company experienced double jeopardy of its own when it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in December 1997 and then ceased operations in July 1998, making "What is Jeopardy?" the appropriate response to "GameTek's final game."
