Description

The Land Before Time Collection lets players revisit characters and locales from the 1988 Don Bluth animated film in an adventure spanning five prehistoric worlds. Lost in the Mysterious Beyond, Littlefoot and Petrie must rescue their pals and escape back to the safety of The Great Valley. Cera is being held captive in the desert of Dusty No-Green by Scorposaurus, Spike is mired in the swamp of Smelly Mud with the menacing Sharptooth, and Ducky is in The Dark Place, consisting of deep caverns and pits ruled by Spideron. The other levels feature bosses Megadactyl in Tall Stones (crazy pterodactyls, falling rocks, treacherous mountains) and The Volcano in Burning Mountain. Collecting 100 tree stars during the adventure unlocks a bonus arcade-style game in each level: Crocodile Flip (Smelly Mud), Cloud Hop (Tall Stones), Windy Cavern (The Dark Place), and Eruption (Burning Mountain). The onscreen interface allows players to keep track of their energy meter, number of lives, points, and the collected number of tree stars. Completion of each game zone earns a password, which allows resumption of the game from that point. The Land Before Time Collection offers three difficulty settings (easy, medium and hard).
