Stuart Little 2 (Nintendo Game Boy Advance, 2002)

Product Specs
Description
Based upon the children's movie of the same name, Stuart Little 2 on the Game Boy Advance puts the little mouse through a series of tribulations akin to those found in the movie. As he tries to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of his new friend Margalo (along with Mrs. Little's wedding ring), Stuart will have to traverse ten different levels encompassing four different play styles. One particular level sees the furry protagonist behind the wheel of his red toy sports car. Viewed from a top-down perspective, players need to guide Stuart through the streets of New York, avoiding obstacles and oil spills while doing so. Another puts Stuart in control of a small plane, requiring him to navigate his way through a myriad of obstacles in a 2D side-scrolling format. Other levels see him lowered into a drain via a fishing hook. Here, Stuart must shine his flashlight onto any of the nasty critters that get near him, lest he get hurt; his remaining health is displayed by an onscreen silhouette of himself. Classic platform-based levels are also to be found, which have Stuart running, jumping, or riding atop a skateboard through locales such as his school and home. Still-screens inspired by the movie are shown before each level to help explain the story as it progresses and to provide the necessary objectives for each level. Fans of the movie will be pleased to note that digitized voice samples are included for Stuart and friends. A two-player mode is included that allows players to compete in car races or standard footraces, however, each player requires a copy of the title. A password save system allows players to keep track of their in-game progress.
