Description
Take the role of a magically gifted lad who quests to become a true hero in Lunar Legend. Based directly on two earlier games, the Sega CD's Lunar: The Silver Star and Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete which followed on the PS, this GBA RPG features a classic lead character named Alex who seeks to prove himself in a grand, expansive adventure. Alex idolizes a legendary hero, the Dragonmaster Dyne, and longs to follow in his footsteps. To do so, Alex must find the Dragons of Lunar and subject himself to their trials. If he is successful, he can take his place as the Guardian of Athena -- just like his idol Dyne. Alex finds companions along the way, who may travel with him and help him in his journey. Though it follows the same basic story of its predecessors, Lunar Legend takes on several enhancements as it comes to the Game Boy Advance. Graphics have been vamped for smooth, colorful display on the small screen. This version of the game also includes some new, hidden areas, and the combat system has been streamlined for faster battles with more variety. Special cards can be collected, some of which may help the hero overcome certain challenges. As many as 200 in-game items can be traded between two players through a link cable connection.
