Matchbox County is on alert with a number of potentially life-threatening dangers in this THQ racing game featuring six original vehicles based on the popular Matchbox miniature toy car series. Players guide such emergency vehicles as the Fire Crusher, Rescue Net Police Car, and Police Battering Ram on their way to help stop various disasters. Missions include dousing a fireworks factory before it explodes, capturing animals that have escaped from both the circus and zoo, and even quelling a riot from within the heart of the city. Completing each mission earns players heroic awards, which in turn unlock bonus vehicles and mini-games. A total of 12 action games run the gamut from races to puzzle solving exercises as players immerse themselves in the stressful role of an emergency worker.
