Description

Rio for Nintendo DS is a rhythm-action platform game, based on the 20th Century Fox computer-animated film. The player taps and slides the stylus on touch-screen icons, to the beat of the music, in order to make Blu and his friends bounce, dodge, and somersault their way through the side-scrolling levels. The game follows the story of the pet-shop parrot who looks for love as he learns to fly through the Amazon jungles. Two Rio DS players can connect wirelessly, to compete in a dance-off mini-game. The game also supports the DSi camera, allowing players to take a picture of themselves or a friend, and import it into the game to dance the samba.
