Nasty things can come in small packages, but few are smaller or nastier than the pernicious Plankton. Forever in pursuit of the secret krabby patty recipe, this microscopic misanthrope's schemes have now escalated to encompass domination of the entire world, and only Spongebob Squarepants can stop him before it is too late. In a style similar to Spongebob's earlier outings on the Game Boy Advance, Battle for Bikini Bottom challenges players to guide the porous protagonist through a series of 32 side-scrolling levels while avoiding dangerous creatures and deadly falls. Along the way, Spongebob will ride a unicycle, stun baddies with a blast of bubbles, battle giant, screen-filling robots, and seek words advice and encouragement from all his best Bikini Bottom buddies.
