Description
Straight from the best-selling comic book by Todd McFarlane comes Spawn for the Game Boy Color. As Spawn, your mission is to make it through all seven levels and destroy the forces of evil led by Clown. Once Spawn was special agent Al Simmons, duped by his own team and assassinated. In Hell, he struck a deal with Malebolgia, but the pact was twisted and he wound up serving the forces of evil instead. Now he wants revenge. Start in the dark alleys of the city, where the lowlifes live. Defeat them and hop on a motorcycle for a chase through the streets. Next, you'll meet up with Tremor in a level full of knife-wielding street people and cops in riot gear. From the city you'll fly to the stars and the Angel Orbiter, where you must battle robot sentries and the Redeemer unleashes the light of Heaven, where you'll be sent next. There you'll take on winged archers. After your time in Heaven, there's only one way to go, of course, and that's down to Hell. Along the way you'll learn the truth about Violator and meet The Freak. In Hell itself you'll face the Malebolgia and the chance for freedom. Spawn carries his chain with him at all times, and he can also punch and kick his way through the bad guys. He can also pick up guns, machine guns, and power-ups which restore his health before he meets the next round of foes. If his health reaches zero, the game is over. If that happens, you'll get a password to use so you can return to the last chapter you finished next time. Spawn is for one player and has three levels of difficulty.
