Las Vegas Cool Hand features three classic card games, including solitaire, blackjack, and cribbage, each offering four variations of play. Solitaire options include Monte Carlo, Klondike, Calculation, and Elevens, while blackjack has different house rules based on city: London, Atlantic City, Vegas Strip, and downtown Las Vegas. Cribbage fans will be able to select from 6- or 7-card play as well as 6- or 7-card auction. Not familiar with any of the games? Both the instruction manual and the cartridge itself offer rules of play for each card game. Players can further customize each game by selecting the amount of betting before each hand in blackjack, the number of decks used in cribbage, a time limit or hints for solitaire games, and other options specific to each game. Cards are manipulated by moving a hand cursor across the screen and selecting them using the A or B buttons. Though statistics and other information are kept during play, they will reset once the handheld is turned off.
