Description
Final Fantasy returns to Game Boy in this enhanced sequel. Once again you must create a party of four heroes to engage in a series of turn-based battles against an assortment of evil creatures. Your goal is to find 77 pieces of a mystical force known as the "Magi." The problem? The fragments are scattered across nine exotic worlds. In addition to offering a longer quest than its predecessor, Final Fantasy Legend II also includes a number of key changes. The 2-meg cartridge features a new class of adventurer -- robots -- and a more forgiving combat system that allows party members to be revived after falling in battle. Character attributes are now enhanced by the actions taken against enemies, so those who routinely cast spells will be able to increase their mana pool. A new memo feature automatically records pertinent information gleaned from conversations for viewing at any time. Up to three games can be saved to battery backup, and the included 80-page manual offers tips to help new adventurers succeed.
