Ghosts 'n Goblins (Nintendo Game Boy Color, 1999)

Product Specs
Description
Based on the 1985 arcade game, Ghosts 'n Goblins for Game Boy Color has you guiding Prince Arthur, the noblest warrior of Camelot. Your mission is to free the beautiful Princess Guinevere from the demons of Hades. As the honorable knight, you must run, climb, and jump through seven levels of devils, zombies, ghouls, and other creatures. At the end of each level, you must pass through an enchanted gate guarded by a fiendishly evil boss. Your basic demon-slaying weapon as you battle past graveyards, haunted forests, and other hellish places is a lance. Breaking open jars found along the ground allows you to change your weapon to a torch, knife, shield, or an axe. Only one weapon can be carried at a time, however. Other helpful items include timers, money bags, and helmets, with the latter granting you an extra life. If you get hit or touched by an enemy, you lose your armor and must do battle in your skivvies. Get hit a second time without finding more armor and you die. If you run across a magician, you can touch him and score 2,000 points at the risk of being turned into a frog. A password feature is available for resuming your progress from level to level.
