International Superstar Soccer 64 (Nintendo 64, 1997)

Product Specs
Description
The first soccer game on Nintendo 64 offers six game modes and support for up to four simultaneous players. Thirty-six international teams are available, from Argentina to Wales, each with 16 players individually rated in such areas as power, technique, and stamina. While athletes in International Superstar Soccer 64 have fictitious names, up to 24 custom players can be created and saved to a Control Pak. The heart of the title is the World League mode, which involves trying to advance through 70 consecutive games. Players can also test their shooting skills in a penalty kick showdown, progress through 16 second-half scenarios, or practice their footwork on a training field. Sixteen formations and eight team strategies will help ensure victories against the top teams in the league.
