This title is very similar to other Jeopardy videogames and to the television game show on which they all are based. Players earn money by providing solutions (in the form of questions) to clues and puzzles (which come in the form of "answers"). This version of the popular game features answers and questions regarding the world of sports. The controls to the game are fairly simple. A clue of a certain dollar value is displayed and players hit a button to "buzz in" with the correct answer. The first player to "buzz in" gets to try to solve the clue. A correct answer adds the dollar value of the clue to the player's score while an incorrect answer removes that same amount from the player's holdings, strongly discouraging the temptation to guess at unknown clues. Questions are answered using the D-pad to move a cursor around and pick the appropriate letters to spell out the answer. Jeopardy! Sports Edition features more than 3,500 "answers" in more than 700 categories. Alex Trebek is on hand to host the proceedings.
