The Combatribes (Super Nintendo, 1992) - Japanese Version

Product Specs
Description
The 12-Meg Combatribes is a translation of the arcade game of the same name, exclusively available on the Super Nintendo console. The game features a total of sixteen characters, five gangs on different home "turfs," and over forty different moves to pummel your opponent. As you make your way through the levels, you'll be able to earn passwords that allow you the chance to play as one of the enemy characters in Versus Mode. A second person can also join in on the fun, either as your partner in the Mission Mode or against you in the Versus Mode. There's a problem in New York City. It seems multiple gangs have claimed five different neighborhoods as their own and are taking pleasure in terrorizing the public. If that weren't enough, the gangs are now organized into one force by Martha Splatterhead, a former member of the Combatribe Cyborg Unit. Is there no hope? Fear not, residents. As a current member of the elite fighting force known as the Combatribes, your mission is to destroy the leader and any gang standing in your way.
