If you've ever had a penchant for taking to the skies in a high performance fighter jet you'll get your chance in Aero Wings 2: Air Strike, a game that aims to be the most comprehensive simulation found on the Dreamcast. First, earn your wings through a series of training missions where you'll learn to do rolls, loops, and land a real jet. Throttle down, flaps up, lower the landing gear -- you'll have to do it all to succeed in AeroWings 2. The more training missions you tackle, the more planes become available. Players will recognize F-16 Falcons, F-14 Tomcats, F-18 Hornets (for those lovely carrier missions) and more. After selecting a plane, it's off into the unfriendly skies to take on rival pilots! With realistic flight physics and several distinct fighters to take into the air, each mission plays differently as you progress in skill. The game also takes into account changing weather conditions and the time of day -- best to watch that someone doesn't get the drop on you by coming up with the sun behind them. Once you think you're good enough you can prove it in a two-player split screen dogfight, where the winner takes all and the loser hits the silk.
