The kids from Backyard Sports: Baseball 2007 are back for another season on the Game Boy Advance. Designed to replicate the casual backyard or sandlot "pick up" game played by kids of all ages, Backyard Sports: Baseball 2007 features controllable elements of pitching, batting, fielding, and running and the ability to adjust difficulty levels between two players. Recommended for ages seven and up, players can choose to play a full season complete with statistic tracking and team standings, a "Home Run Derby" mini-game, a "Fielder's Challenge" mini-game, quick play, or multiplayer action for up to two players. The game features all 30 MLB teams and logos, as well as a dugout full of major league players depicted as kids, and ten pre-set backyard teams. Character appearance can be totally customized, and players may dress the pint-size all-stars in any uniform they wish. The logos, fields, and uniforms themselves may also be altered for a completely customized team. Included as kid versions are such luminaries as Albert Pujols, Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, David Oritz, and Bobby Abreu, among others.
