The (literally) limited edition budget release features a demo of the full game as well as a small lineup of playable characters, a new court, and Red Hot-exclusive, Halloween-themed costumes (not found in the original game). Offered as a cheap, rental-priced alternative to full games and displayed at the rental counter in most Blockbuster stores, the special edition sold in rather large numbers.
