Description

World Games simulates various athletic events from around the world. In a tournament format, up to eight players compete for the pride of their nation. Gamers choose from playing up to eight different events: weight lifting, barrel jumping, cliff diving, slalom skiing, log rolling, bull riding, caber toss, and sumo wrestling. Each event concludes with the awards for gold, silver and bronze medals. The player with the most total points after the final event wins honor and respect for their country, while the NES serenades them with their own national anthem. The option of a practice mode, as well as an informative travelogue, adds to the sheer variance of this cartridge.
