Motocross Championship (Sega 32X, 1994)
Product Specs
Description
A game that has been described as "Road Rash with hills," Motocross Championship lets players rip up the dirt on one of three motorcycles on different 12 tracks, each offering terrain such as whoop-de-doos, triple jumps, mud puddles and tabletop jumps. The perspective is behind the dirt bike as you challenge 11 computer riders for first place. Players can pull up on the handlebars to lift the front wheel, perform moves such as "power salutes" and step-offs (for cash bonuses), and even punch or kick other riders. Unlike Road Rash, this game is largely lacking in entertainment value, suffering from unresponsive controls, heavily pixelated graphics, and jerky gameplay. Topping things off is an annoyingly repetitive voice effect: "Hey!"
