Description

Based on Tom Clancy's best-selling novel and subsequent film, The Hunt for Red October has you controlling the titular nuclear submarine through six side-scrolling stages. The seventh and final level is a platform-style sequence that involves disarming six bombs scattered across the submarine's weapon bays. The Red October comes equipped with horizontal- and vertical-firing torpedoes and missiles. Play involves carefully avoiding mines, enemy subs, and other hazards while making your way from left to right. To ensure safe passage, the Red October can become invisible and use ECM (electronic countermeasures) to eliminate nearby threats.
