Description

Micro Machines XS continues the overhead racing found in its predecessors while offering new courses, cars, and characters. Up to four players can once again compete on the same screen as they race across a series of real-world and fantasy courses. Each track is filled with a variety of objects to avoid, such as sewer rats, newspapers, and manholes in the city course, with players dropping out of the race if they can't keep up with the leader. To even things up, a number of offbeat weapons are sprinkled along the track that can be used on the competition. Eight characters are available to choose from, including a police officer, daredevil, and a country bumpkin.
