Featuring a unique blend of side-scrolling action and role-playing progression, Jikandia: The Timeless Land lets gamers determine their own time limits for each dungeon they explore. Set in the titular world during a chaotic monster invasion, The Timeless Land puts players in the role of a young hero named Al who has been sucked into a time warp by an ancient spirit known as Temtem. Nine of Al's schoolyard chums were also sucked into temporal limbo, and it's up to gamers to help the young hero rescue his friends from imprisonment. The custom time limit mechanic allows players to choose what they want to achieve in each dungeon, with longer stays resulting in more rare items and treasure chests, but also more deadly traps and run-ins with powerful enemies. Gamers can upgrade their character's skills by collecting magic orbs, and a special "Awakening" mode offers strength and speed boosts. Multiplayer fans can also get in on the action, joining three friends for local Ad-hoc action in the competitive "Coliseum" mode.
