Product Specs
Description
Based on one of the most prestigious events in the world of fishing, BASS Masters Classic is the first Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.) licensed fishing game for the Game Boy Color. Published by THQ Inc. and developed by Four Winds, the game is designed to combine the realism of B.A.S.S. tournament fishing with ease of game play. Created true to the sport of B.A.S.S. fishing, BASS Masters Classic offers enthusiasts and the uninitiated alike features including changing weather conditions, a variety of lures, and lifelike fish behavior. With THQ's signature Lure Cam view, underwater and strike-viewing screens help players compete to catch and release fickle, hard-fighting bass. There are two modes of game play: tournament and practice. Tournament mode allows you to compete on the BASSMASTER Tournament Trail. By placing in the top ranks of this competition, you can qualify for the BASS Masters Classic--the granddaddy of all fishing tournaments! Practice mode gives you the chance to build your fishing skills by customizing an entire day of fishing (6 a.m. to 4 p.m.) by lake, time, and weather. Keep track of the passwords that you are given after completing the first and second days of tournament fishing--you will need these to come back where you left off and continue the competition. BASS Masters Classic for the Game Boy Color is also compatible with the original Game Boy system.
