Description
Which day of the week is often referred to as "hump" day? You only have 30 seconds and four answers to choose from, so think quickly! Finally, you bring up the courage to choose your final answer: "Thursday!" The comical, yet serious face of Regis responds: "I'm sorry, but that's the wrong answer -- we were looking for Wednesday. Better luck next time." But hey, it's just a game...right? Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: 2nd Edition will put you in the hot seat for 15 questions and a possible chance at a million dollars (virtually speaking). Before you play in this mode, you can challenge up to four friends in a "Fastest Finger Round." This is the round that usually precedes the person getting in the hot seat. The question is asked four times and you pass the Game Boy Color to your friend for their turn. During the Single Player mode, you will have full access to all three lifelines and may use them at any time. Just like in the TV show, once you reach $1,000 you get to keep at least that much. The same holds true for when you answer the $32,000 question correctly. The three lifelines you can use are 50/50, Phone-A-Friend, and Ask the Audience. The 50/50 option eliminates two wrong answers and leaves you with only two to choose from. If you utilize the Phone-A-Friend lifeline, Regis will "call" the person and you can see what they say at the bottom of the screen. They will suggest an answer that may or may not be correct. Lastly, if you ask the audience, then a "percent correct" number will appear next to each answer. Beware though, the audience is not always correct!
