Product Specs
Description
While walking along the beach one sunny afternoon, our hero Croc discovers a bottle washed ashore, with a note inside from his mother claiming that she's been searching for her darling reptile offspring for quite a while. Croc immediately sets off to find his devoted mom, even as the evil Baron Dante is hunting him down, having vowed revenge for the last drubbing that Croc rendered upon him. It's up to you to take Croc through distant lands, avoiding the minions of Baron Dante, and hopefully finding his family once again. In addition to jumping and tail whipping, Croc can now move up and down as well as side to side, leaping to ledges above or below him. His leap has been expanded to take him in eight different directions, to make enemy avoidance and cliff hopping that much easier. And he's been given his own missile weapon, the Comet Attack, to give his offense some range. The game features 12 levels of gameplay, from beach to cave, and blends the action of battling Baron Dante's sinister support team with the occasional puzzle. In addition to beating Baron Dante and finding his parents, Croc must also locate all of the legendary Gobbo Gems to complete the game perfectly. He can visit Swap Meet Pete's to purchase more health and items that will open up secret areas. Croc 2 also features a password save so that you can keep up on your progress, as well as unlimited continues.
