Grab your 'board and show off your moves in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, a Nintendo Game Boy Color-only game endorsed by popular professional skateboarder Tony Hawk. Play as one of ten skateboarding pros and tackle the action solo or against a pal over your Link Cable. There are four modes of play: Half-Pipe, Tournament, Link, and One-on-One Versus CPU. In Half-Pipe Mode, you have a limited amount of time to execute as many tricks as you can; the more complex they are, the more points you earn. In the other modes, there are five courses to choose from for the action: Street, Park, Downtown, Harbor, and Skate Park. In Tournament Mode, you play as Tony Hawk and compete against other skaters, earning points for tricks and trying to finish in first place. Passwords allow you to return where you left off. In Link Mode, it's you against a friend on any course. Choose from any of the ten skaters and try to be the first one to cross the finish line. Finally, One-on-One Versus CPU Mode is the same as Link Mode, except you're going against the computer instead of a pal. So, are you ready to become a pro vert skater and fly high in the half-pipe?
