Product Specs
Description
Gobs of Games is a collection of traditional family games brought to your Game Boy Color. All of the featured titles are divided into four different types: Peg Games, Paper Games, Puzzles, and Board Games. In Peg Games, you'll be able to play one of the following seven activities: Peg Jump, Pegs Away! Peg Fun, Peg Race, Tri-Peg, Peg Duel and Vs. Peg Duel for you and a friend. If you choose Paper Games, you'll be able to play Hangman (solo or with a friend), Dot Boxes (available as a versus game too), Triangles, Share, Color Snakes, and Tic-Tac-Toe. This game also features such puzzles as Scramble and Move It! The goal in Peg Games is to remove all the pegs from the board by jumping over them to an empty slot. In Paper Games like Hangman, the object is to guess a word in as few moves as possible (each word is represented with blank spaces). If you guess a letter that is not part of the word, a new body part will be added to the hangman's noose. Scramble is a game in which you must move individual pieces to form a picture, and checkers, of course, has you advancing across the board to capture or block your opponent's pieces until he or she cannot make any more moves. All two-player modes in Gobs of Games require the Game Boy Link Cable and a second copy of the game. In this Game Boy Color exclusive release, players have the option to turn the music and sound effects on or off.
