Crushed Baseball (Nintendo Game Boy Advance, 2004)

Product Specs
Description
Crushed Baseball 2004 offers players a warped version of America's pastime with offbeat stadiums, outlandish teams, and comic book-styled players with mojo-powered abilities. Rather than opt for an official MLB license for real teams, stadiums, and athletes, the game takes a page from such titles as Baseball Simulator 1.000 and focuses on special moves like throwing a pitch that saws through a batter's bat, hitting balls that plant themselves in the field, or vacuuming pop flies with an outfielder's mitt. The ballparks are designed to reflect the zany antics on the field, with stained glass replacing traditional fencing and such venues as a karate dojo, where players can earn extra "mojo" by hitting a gong or similar target after swinging the bat. Options include adjustable times of day, variable weather, and multiple surfaces to play on. Among the characters filling out each team's lineup are female athletes and mascots.
