Description
The power and intensity of the World Wrestling Federation can be enjoyed on the road with WWF Attitude for Game Boy Color. Seven available formats include a Challenge Mode, Career Mode, King of the Ring, Versus, Tag Team, Cage Match and Training Mode. Challenge Mode involves taking on all opponents in a ladder-style competition for the WWF Championship. Career Mode expands the number of bouts to 19 as players attempt to defeat every wrestler in the game. King of the Ring has players trying to defeat eight wrestlers, one after another, without losing a match. Versus lets players select their opponent for a one-on-one showdown, while Tag Team involves pairing up with another wrestler and tagging him into the ring when things get too difficult. The game ends when both opponents are defeated. Cage Match has both wrestlers locked inside a steel cage with one goal: to defeat the other wrestler and climb out as the victor. The final event, Training Mode, lets players practice each wrestler's moves while preparing for competition. Each wrestler has different attacks based on the opponent's position within the ring. If an opponent is on the mat, for example, then elbow drops, foot stomps, and leg drops can be performed. Moves also vary when wrestlers are locked in a grapple, and players have the ability to climb the turnbuckle or even leave the ring. Twenty professional wrestlers are featured: Steve Austin, Undertaker, Triple H, Shamrock, X-Pac, Road Dogg, B.A. Billy Gunn, Goldust, Val Venis, Kane, Mankind, The Rock, Edge, Taka, Gangrel, The Big Boss Man, Al Snow, The Godfather, Sable and Jeff Jarrett. Options include three difficulty levels, three control configurations, and a time limit for wrestling against the computer. Passwords allow progress to be resumed in the Challenge Mode.
