Based on the popular Nickelodeon animated series, this release from THQ finds the perennially optimistic SpongeBob on a great quest for the legendary Flying Dutchman's Golden Spatula. With this mighty utensil in his hands, SpongeBob could become the greatest fry cook that the undersea land of Bikini Bottom has ever known. SpongeBob seeks the Golden Spatula through more than ten levels of platform action, in which he's joined by his best friend Patrick, his neighbor Squidward, his boss Mr. Krabs, and other friends and local acquaintances.
