Sports Illustrated for Kids Baseball (Nintendo Game Boy Advance, 2001)

Product Specs
Description
This Sports Illustrated baseball game from the publishers at bam! Entertainment is designed to offer arcade-style gameplay and realistic team management in a straightforward format suitable for younger gamers. The cartridge allows kids to assemble and name their own team, choose a uniform style, and train their virtual players to increase their skills. A link cable allows two Sports Illustrated for Kids gamers to play against one another in head-to-head competition. Player development is a significant aspect of the game. Each character has three vital statistics -- strength, speed, and agility -- which define his or her abilities on the field. The virtual ballplayers can increase their statistics in these attributes and improvements are represented graphically: fast players leave as trail of smoke and flames behind them, and big hitters send shock waves as they connect with the ball. Successful team play can unlock other hidden features as well.
