MTV Sports: Pure Ride (Nintendo Game Boy Color, 2000)

Product Specs
Description
MTV Sports: Pure Ride offers players an array of choices for their snowboarding action. The primary mode is the Tour Challenge, which features fantasy courses from around the world, including Canada, the United States, Japan, and France, among others. The goal is to combine your speed and your tricks to beat the clock and boost your score, eventually taking control of the entire tour. The game features a trick system that includes 23 different moves that range from simple methods and Indies to more difficult Rodeo Flips and other tricks from the world of snowboarding. Tricks can only be officially performed off of the ramps found within the courses, but to hit these ramps, players will have to avoid all manner of obstacles, from trees to snowmen. All tricks can be linked together on a single jump for combo points. The second mode is the Halfpipe competition. This mode features an entirely different engine than the Tour Challenge, giving players the opportunity to slide down a rendered halfpipe, tricking off of the pipe in much the same way as a ramp in the Tour Challenge. Training mode is where players can hone their skills, and there are four riders and four different boards within the game itself.
